I'm a big fan of Hope's Cookies, they consistently provide a 4-5 star product. I've been to this location once, but I usually go to the vendor in Reading Terminal. While Famous 4th Street may have prime real estate in RTM, I always make the trek to the back for Hope's. I've ordered online several times and it's been wonderful. My last interaction with Hope's left a bad taste in my mouth. I placed an order online and as instructed by the FAQ page, specified a delivery date in the special instructions box on the order form. About 30 minutes later I received an email from UPS that my order would be delivered tomorrow! I saw that it hadn't been picked up by UPS yet so I called Hope's to see if they could grab it before it went out. I called both numbers listed several times and they kept ringing for eternity. I sent an email and then called again and an answering machine picked up, so I left a message. I received a call from Jay about 15 minutes later. Jay informs me that he saw my calls and my email and got my message. I'll admit overkill, but I was working against time. Jay: "Do you not read?" Me: "Read what?" Jay: "I'm yelling at you, but in a nice way." Jay explained that right above the special instructions box on the order form it says to ignore the UPS email I will receive. I missed this little tidbit and suggested it might also be useful to add it to the frequently asked questions page where the instructions are located for shipping requests. Jay's response, "No one reads that." I love cookies, but I can do without sassy customer service. Here's a tip, if you order and designate a date in the special instructions section, ignore the UPS email.

If you're getting an cookie-ice cream sandwich, you're making the best decision you'll make all night. BUT, you had better know what cookies you want to make in your sandwich, otherwise its back of the line! Like if this were a sandwich shop, they'd ask what bread, and you'd be like, "oh, lemme see, what do you have?" "oh, sourdough, wheat, white, rye." At Hopes, its more like, "What cookies do you have?" ::eye roll:: "Next customer!" I mean, I get it, I get it. The cookies are good. Have some Hopes.

Ok the cookies are good. We went there for ice cream and the first time my family and I went the people behind the counter clearly hate their jobs and dislike people - we were all in a good mood and tried being friendly and joke around - they were having none of it! Whatever. We sat at the tables - which were dirty - ate the ice cream and left. Second time there and the same poor unhappy staff as the last time. The next time I get the idea about buying ice cream I'll buy some from Acme and save the money and learn to bake my own cookies.

I've walked past the Hope's location in Reading Terminal time and time again without bothering to stop (in favor of 4th Street), but upon driving past the storefront in Rosemont, the brakes went on. Some people have a sweet tooth, but I boast a full mouth of sweet teeth, which translates to the demolition of any cookie (muffin, doughnut, cake, etc.) that comes within two feet of my face. It's a terrible curse, actually. From Hope's, I purchased two snickerdoodles, a chocolate chip, a double fudge, a sugar cookie, as well as a mixed fruit muffin. This was yesterday. They have all been gone for hours. Especially favored the snickerdoodles. Get those from this great little shop!

3.5 stars for Hopes! Great cookies, Good Ice Cream (try the milky way!), but I find the service can be hit or miss these days. The boom box is playing loud enough so customers have to repeat themselves, repeatedly...It's nice to have some background music, but this is an ice cream and cookie shop, keep it toned down so you can hear the customers... This is the place with the Cow's out front that are annually tipped over by the local college kids...as others have noted they have a nice little bench area out front...which is good because the only other place to sit and eat is in Peace a Pizza! It can get crowded on a hot summer night...line out the door... The shakes are good! and they do give you the extra little cup of shake that didnt fit in your glass...big plus! Stop by, have some ice cream...just leave the cow alone!

I recently ordered Hope's Cookies for my friends birthday and sent it to her school. I thought it was a really cute idea and I was so excited for her to get it on her birthday. I ordered it a week before i wanted it delivered. I wrote in the special instructions for it to be delivered on Tuesday and a man called me telling me it will MOSTLY LIKELY be delivered that tuesday but there is a possibility it would come that wednesday. He said it was EXTREMELY RARE for it to take two days so i wasn't worried about it arriving on tuesday. Well of course with my luck it takes that extra day which i was disappointed about since i paid almost 10$ for shipping a few cookies. Overall though she got her cookies and enjoyed them!

I can't believe I gave Hope's five stars last year. Sadly, I had to update this review. Hope's dropped two stars in my book when they decided to get rid of the white chocolate cookie, which did not contain macadamia nuts. If you read my previous review, you'll see that these cookies were a huge factor in rating this place five stars. The chocolate chip walnut cookies are still delicious, but everything else seems too sweet. The white russian is a nice cookie, but after eating about two, I can't handle anymore. Unfortunately, I haven't had a desire to go to Hope's as of recent. The only way our relationship can be mended is if you bring back white chocolate cookies WITHOUT THE NUTS.

I've been to the adjoining business Peace-A-Pizza a bunch of times, but the first time I spent money in Hope's was not long ago. I was walking around Wayne all day and was dying for some sort of ice cream to negate the burnt calories. I stopped at Hope's and ended up getting a milkshake. Simply put, it was heaven. Three dollars and change is the normal price, but I was there during March Madness, so the price was knocked down by a dollar. Now, the price is amazing and I'm sure you are wondering how big it is-- you'd think miniscule, right? WRONG. It comes is a full 16 oz cup and they give you a child-size bowl that is also filled with your milkshake. And it's tasty. Now that's good. The service was decent (not bad like some of the other reviews), although the server was a little confused when I asked him to put half skim and half whole into my milkshake. Unfortunately, Hope's doesn't offer mid-range fat content milk, so that was a bit of a bummer, but the guy who made the milkshake was totally accommodating, so I really appreciated that.

I can't knock this place for being expensive, because the chocolate chip walnut cookie is my favorite cookie in the world. I've tried to duplicate the recipe at home and I just can't. I also get the reece's pieces peanut butter cookie too. Mostly everything I get from Hope's is great, but again it's expensive. I once gave an intern money to walk to the store and get me and him cookies during the work day when I was too busy. I love this place. Sometimes the service might be a little slow though and the parking lot is a mess.

I grew up in the area, and ate Hope's Cookies on a regular basis through middle school and high school. I decided to stop by this morning to celebrate my first time back home in a while, and was disappointed. They offer more variety in desserts than they used to, but the cookies aren't as good anymore. The same great flavors are all there, but the textures are off. One of the cookies I had must have been sitting there for almost a week, it was incredibly stale. The other definitely hadn't been baked today, but was more acceptable (though not for a place that prides itself on fresh cookies). I probably won't be going back anytime soon.

Please note that the quality of the cookies is very good- however their mail delivery service is not and their customer service needs to improve. I have not been to the actual location, I have only ordered online. Cookies taste great- but I have called a few times DURING business hours and no one ever answers the phone or returns my call within a reasonable amount of time (less than a week). I ordered cookies for my husband a few weeks back. I received an email specifying that they had questions about the order. I called multiple times during business hours and got no answer. I left my cell phone number, my work number, and my email. I did not have anyone return the call for over a week. The cookies were delivered on our anniversary at 6:30pm to his work place. He had already left for the day. I called that day and the following day and again left messages. Someone finally returned my call the following week and explained they had no control over delivery time. I said I understood but found it unprofessional that no one returned any of my previous calls. They did not offer an apology, a refund, or a discount on future orders. So again, cookies taste great, customer service needs some work...

Cookies and milkshakes just like mom used to make*. The White Russian cookie is pretty creative. I could tell from the ample samples that the chocolate chip and m&m cookies are also delicious. The cookies n' creme milkshake is solid. Not too thin, not too thick. *Not my mom, though. She fed me really healthy stuff and would only give me cookies in some peculiar, flourless form that, while made with love...might've been improved with some butter. My friends made fun of me when I was young for the healthy cookies but we will see who is laughing when I'm rockin' a jetski and they are all suffering from chronic cookie-related illnesses. As far as I am concerned Pepperidge Farm sells the same cookies, except they're half the price and twice as big. I guess the allure is for drunk college kids, or local teens who wish they were sophisticated enough to be drunk college kids? Here's a bit of fraud for you: Billboard out front says "dozen hot cookies for $10" and when you go in and ask for that, they give you 12 cold cookies, charge you $12.95, and when you ask "What the heck?" they say your cookies aren't hot, and they don't have any hot ones to sell you, so they had to bait-and-switch. Essentially, this place sucks.

Lucky for me, my college was located down the street from Hope's. Walkable actually. Come to think of it, it probably would've been a good idea to burn off some calories by putting my two legs to good use after indulging in some Hope's Cookies. Sadly, I've long since graduated from college and no longer live in the vicinity. However, when I am in town visiting my old stomping grounds, I always request for a pit stop at Hope's. These cookies are as good as it gets. Great for holidays, family get-togethers, gifts. We routinely bring them to family events in NY, and have shipped them to friends and family members far away. Where else can you open one door and have access to hot out of the oven cookies on one side of the building, and fresh baked pizza on the other side?? I stopped in and wound up buying both... The cookies were kind of hard to choose from. Especially if you weren't planning on buying many. I've passed Hope's Cookies many, many times, and finally had a reason to make a trip there. I wanted to get a bunch (a dozen, in my case) for a special person's birthday. Their store is cozy, sharing space with a Peace-of-Pizza - talk about good smells all around! There are a variety of cookie flavors to choose from, my favorite being the classic chocolate chip. Super-friendly cookie master Keirra helped me choose what cookies to stock up on, describing each delicious morsel. She gave me the option to add trimmings and a bow to the box. Prices are competitive with other gourmet cookie vendors. I'll be back if I need cookies that are a little more special than Mrs. Field's. (If you get them, be sure to eat them in a day or two, otherwise they lose their softness.)

When I first visited my boyfriend's home he took me on a tour of the area, pointing out the schools he went to, his synagogue, and most importantly Hope's Cookies, which both he and his dad adore (high praise indeed since his father is absolutely crazy about cookies - they can't keep them in the house, otherwise he eats them all!) And damn those cookies are good - and best of all, there's an incredible variety: choc. chip, caramel pecan, oatmeal raisin, double fudge, m&m, choc. chip walnut, heath bar crunch, snickerdoodle, peanut butter, choc. raspberry, apricot almond, white choc. chunk, sugar, triple choc., Hope's Royale (macadamia nuts, choc. chips, coconut), peanut butter milk choc., white choc. macadamia nut, white russian (kahlua, coffee and white choc. chip), harvest (it's like the ultimate oatmeal cookie - delish!), and their seasonal pumpkin. So many types, its really hard to choose! I'm a big fan of the White Russian, as is my boyfriend, but all their cookies are simply amazing - even better when warmed in the oven! These cookies are so damn good that for my boyfriend's birthday, since I was studying abroad in Italy and couldn't be with him, I ordered 72 cookies in several flavors (I think 8 different ones, but you can get any assortment you want) to be shipped to him and his friends who were celebrating with him. He absolutely loved it, said it was even better than a birthday cake, and all 72 cookies disappeared within 2 days.

I have patronized Hope's Cookies for years and am generally satisfied with the product. On several occasions, however, I bought cookies which were touted as fresh. I got them en route to a function so there is no reason the cookies should have been stale. Stale they were and red-faced was I. They have a good product but the quality assurance is lacking.

Its funny when you live near something for a while and get accoustomed to its greatness, you really take it for granted. For four years i lived within walking distance of Hope's and enjoyed its bounty of fresh cookies that actually melted in your mouth. And i wondered where i got the freshman 15... But it wasn't until i was in Redding Terminal and saw the sign for Hopes that i remembered the greatness. I convinced the bf to get some and i was instantly transported back to the memories of Hopes. They just melted in my mouth. The snickerdoodles had perfect flavor and i will even say they were better than mine! Even the bf was impressed. However, he didn't stop talking about it all weekend. So his birthday was approaching and decided to get him a dozen. I had a hard time chosing only six types from all their options and it sucks that you can't have more than six types in a dozen. I had them shipped to my house since i didn't know the ability of recieving packages at the bf's office. Well the people at Hope's called me to confirm that was really where i wanted the packages delivered. I thought that was really going the extra mile The cookies were delivered within 48 hours, It was awesome I just wish there was a way to pick the delivery date so i didn't have them two days early Still they are the best cookies... ever

Since then this online store has been my first choice when sending baked goods anywhere in the country. Anytime I want a care package for any who is sick, boyfriend, back to school. I'll make this brief (since I tend to get long winded with my reviews): -Been coming here since it was attached to West Coast Video (yikes - throwback!). I would DREAM about their chocolate chip cookies and had to make my mama get me one whenever we rented a VHS. -Best Cookies (IMHO): Chocolate Chip, Heath Bar -MILKSHAKES! Their mint chocolate chip milkshakes are my personal favs. I usually ask them to do half whole, half fat-free milk in order to try and cut the calories. Still delish. -Careful of the employees! LOL. They're all high-school/college kids who are probably in the midst of their first employment so be patient and watch what they're doing so you can get what you ordered! The upside to this is that they can be very generous with the portions and sometimes dish out the extra milkshake in a side dish if they made too much (no extra charge! Be sure to tip well). -Try and get there or find out when the cookies are coming out fresh from the oven. I mean, this experience is DIVINE. Hot, melty, scrumptious cookies from Hope's are like none other. -Now that Hope's is attached to Peace A Pizza which actually used to be seriously good before they went mega-local-chain on us. Haven't even bothered getting a slice here in years but, from what I remembered, they went from amazing to mediocre to borderline bad. Sadville. Ugh, One of my biggest vice's in High School. having friends working it meant that I got to constantly savor free cookies and raid the ice cream after hours. And while part of me might have eventually regretted it I do have to acknowledge the cookie quality. Hope's definitely dish out some great cookies. All of the traditional flavors are there and bigger than ever. But they also hook up kinds like Heath Bar, Reece's Pieces, The Royale, and my big time Vice - M & M's. Crack thy name is Hope's Cookies! Now sugar is my one true vice, and more often than not it comes in the form of a cookie. I've probably eaten 3 times my weight in cookies during my life, so I have a pretty vaste frame of reference when I say that Hope's Cookies are the best cookies...ever! Look no further than the Kahlua-infused White Russian cookie. To be fair, the punk colleged-aged employees can sometimes have an attitude, but I guess I would too if I was constantly being taunted by the unrealistic temptation of constant cookies. If you get your Hope's Cookies fix at the Reading Terminal, you might like to know that the storefront has about twice as many cookie varieties as they have at the Terminal.

Hope's cookies, thanks for keeping the junk in my trunk throughout 4 years of college. I was a varsity athlete, but you helped me channel my inner fattie. How could I eat just one cookie when the heath-bar/toffee cookies are every bit as chewy and delicious as the white-chocolate macadamia nut cookies? How am I supposed to choose? Well, I didn't. I ate both, and was supremely satisfied with myself (less so with the attendant fat ass that developed from my repetitive, delicious indecision.) Now college is over and it's been a while since I've eaten any of your baked goods, but I remember fondly how they inspired me to rave to friends and family 3000 miles away - even going so far as to bring home a tin so everyone would understand my obsession. My only complaint is that your store is often overrun by prissy Main Line pre-teens. I can handle a lot of things, but twelve-year-olds with bleached hair, popped collars, Tiffany & Co. jewelery, and more attitude than your small storefront can contain - well, it just detracts from my happy and mellow cookie-chomping experience. I know the brats aren't your fault, so I'm not deducting any stars, but patrons should be warned of what to expect when they enter your store.

Several times a year I stop by Hope's to pick up several tins for my clients. I don't know why this place is staffed with grouchy people. I started going to a different spot because the customer service here is so horrible. The building itself is adorable and the cookies are great, however, you will be greeted by an ugly scowl and attitude. Hope's cookies.. The person that helped me was very nice, extremely patient, and didn't mind explaining the pricing to me. It came to about $10.25 for a dozen in a bag or $13 for the same number of cookies in a box. I got a little of everything but really enjoyed the triple chocolate the most, but I really like chocolate. I'd definitely go back, but next time I need help eating a dozen cookies!!

My entire family loves Hopes cookies. I don't know what they put in them but they are awesome! However, after my last visit, the guy that hand selected my cookies wearing a glove, used that same glove to take my money, scratch his face, the continued to touch cookies without changing his glove. The place is filthy dirty as is Peace of Pizza next door. How they do not get cited by the health inspector is beyond me.

I've been to this location one time, along with the location in Reading Terminal a few more, but I have to say that I'm a huge fan of the cookies here. As always, I start with the chocolate chip cookies: not too thick, and just the right amount of chewiness when they're warm. I'm also a big fan of their sugar cookies and snickerdoodle cookies as well. Sometimes, you might have to wait a little bit - I had to sit tight for the chocolate chip cookies because they were all ordered out! But they bake up another batch quickly, and then you can get your hands and your face all dirtied up stuffing your face with sugary deliciousness. My girlfriend also ordered me a box once; the price is very affordable and well worth the money if you don't live near the shop. I wouldn't put the chocolate chip cookies on the same level as Famous 4th's, but they are still pretty damn good and definitely in the top few on my list of cookie shops.

Hope's Milkshake...(you know the rest). Cookies and cream. It's frothy. It's smooth. It's got cookies in it. It fits through your straw without being overly liquid-y. It's good. It tastes like a milkshake should. The White Russian cookie tastes like a White Russian. It's got coffee and white chocolate and really is worth all of its rave. Now I just need some coffee liquor, vodka and cream to make the experience worthwhile.

Every time I come here, I imagine the Cookie Monster gorging in complete hedonistic ecstasy. COO-KIEEE! These things are like crack. There are tons of flavors to choose from -- even one that is relatively healthy (Harvest - cranberries, walnuts, raisins, honey & coconut, wheat flour & oats). Personally, Harvest, Caramel Pecan, and Apricot Almond were the 3 that seduced my taste buds the hardest. Storefront is a cute white house replete with a picket fence. Inside, there were 2 big BIG African-American brothers who were tattooed up and smiling warmly to greet and to serve. They look so out of context -- for this reason alone, saying hello to the cordial staff is worth the trip.

Hope's Cookies is the perfect place to go if you want something sweet and carby. It's adjoined with the Peace A Pizza nearby so there's a lot of space for a big party. I went with a bunch of the girls on the swim team (about 15 girls) and we were able to comfortably find a place to sit without any problem. Hope's Cookies is recommended for their ice cream cookie sandwiches, but I went for a scoop of the cookie dough ice cream in a waffle cone. Their portions are massive and you get a discount if you show your student ID. The flavors are varied. This place is very child-friendly as their flavors are interesting and they cater to children very well. If you're in the mood for actual cookies, this is the place to come as well. Many students take cookies back to their dorm rooms to munch on throughout the day. If you want a warm cookie, they have a microwave right at the counter to help you satisfy your need, which is really great! Hope's Cookies is definitely the place to be!

It's really a shame this business is so horrible. Their cookies are good. The staff is horrible (sorry!). They close about 30-60 minutes early on a regular basis. I love to have dinner at a nearby restaurant and want a cookie for dessert so I "HOPE" to come here for one. Even when they stay open for their business hours I am grossed out by their sanitary practices and LOUD rap music. Go to Wawa for a warmed up large chocolate chip cookie for only 99 cents. Much, much better and only a few minutes drive down Lancaster Ave.

I went to Hope's cookies on a rainy day and was pleasantly surprised. They had many cookie varieties to choose from and La Colombe coffee to go with the treats. They also served ice cream, which I will try at a later time. The store shares space with Peace of Pizza so there was not a really cozy feeling/quaint seating area that I expected given the impression from the restaurant's outside. But regardless of the disapointment in Hope's Cookies not having its own seperate space, the food was delicious and the staff was very knowledgable and nice.

A health bar crunch cookies AND a scoop of Moose Tracks ice cream became the yummiest treat that I've had in a long time. A fresh baked cookie can be so heavenly good, and Hope's Cookies doesn't disappoint.There were so many tasty choices at Hope's Cookies that my dad, my daughter and I each went with cookies and ice cream. My dad chose the Caramel Dulche de Leche ice cream and a Hope's Royale cookie (macadamia nuts, coconut and chocolate pieces) and gave each a thumb's up. I tasted his ice cream and liked it, although the cookie he kept all to himself. My daughter wanted to bring home more cookies or possibly even better, to bring home containers of the cookie dough to bake our own at home. Hope's Cookies shares a location with Peace a Pizza so if you want to really splurge, go for pizza and then follow up with ice cream and/or cookies. It's an all-in-one stop! Hope's Cookies looks quaint inside and out, and it's a nice place to stop whether you're taking things to go or staying to enjoy your treats. Parking can be a bit tricky since there aren't a huge number or spots, but we had no problem pulling up right in front. That might change when schools and college kids return. If you really like your Hope's Cookies and don't live local (or if you want to send a gift), they will ship the cookies. We enjoyed receiving these cookies from Grandma and Grandpa who live close to the Lancaster Ave store and who shipped these treats to us. They were really good, although nothing beats coming to visit here and getting the cookies super-fresh and with a side of ice cream!

Finally took the time to stop here on my way to King of Prussia. I find the outside of this location very cutesy and have been wanting stop here for awhile. My boyfriend's birthday was this past weekend and he loves oatmeal raisin cookies so I decided to give Hope's Cookies a try. My order consisted of 2 -Oatmeal Raisin 1- M&M Delight 1- White Chocolate Macadamia Nut 1- Heath Bar Crunch Surprisingly the Heath Bar Crunch was our favorite. Next was the oatmeal raisin, white chocolate and then the M&M. The M&M was really nothing special at all. Overall I'd definitely order the Heath Bar and Oatmeal Raisin again. We have came here a few times for a late night treat. Mainly because the location is convenient. Their cookies are pretty good, but not as good as insomnia. But, I think the prices are a little better than insomnia. I really like the sugar cookie with the sprinkles and the peanut butter flavored ones. There's nothing quite as beautiful in life as a warm, freshly made Hope's chocolate chip cookie. The first thing you notice when you walk into Hope's cookies is..COOKIES. COOKIES EVERYWHERE. Every kind of cookie you could ever want and ice cream and ice cream sandwiches made with cookies and cookies shaped like cupcakes and more cookies. I bought a peanut butter and m&m cookie and ate it immediately. It was warm and gooey but not falling apart in your hands (I love a cookie that breaks apart as soon as you touch it but thats more of a eating the rejects while making a batch of cookies at home experience.) I also bought a dozen cookies to take home for the parents. They're a bit expensive (a dozen cost be a couple cents short of 20$) but well worth it. Yum! This was an old college favorite!! Came here after dinner on a Saturday night and it was pretty poppin'! I got an ice cream sandwich, so I went to the cookie counter first to choose my cookies of choice. As we were deciding, the worker was so nice and helpful! He even gave us a broken cookie for free since he said he couldn't sell it! I ended up getting the turtle and heath bar cookie. White chocolate cranberry !!!!!. That was the flavor I tried today. All I ever need is just one cookie. They are that good. But during holidays, special occasions I splurge on a dozen. Each cookie is only $1.26, tax included. I've tried almost every flavor and they are worth the price. TIP: Parking both in front and back is tight. Someone was nice enough to give my husband a box of these cookies.,I think there was about 12 cookies in the box. It was packages like it came from a special store. Unfortunately the cookies inside were far from special. They were quit ordinary to be honest. I know that the person who bought these cookies wanted them to be very special but one bite and you feel like these cookies could have come from a factory and made in mass quantities. What's better about Hope's Cookie is how they deliver all over the United States. One day I was talking to my sister, who still lives in Philadelphia, about how my roommate's mother sends boxes of homemade cookies every week. Few days later, she sent me a huge box of assorted Hope's Cookies as a surprise - since my mom, again, doesn't bake. It came with beautiful wrapping; but what impressed me the most was how those cookies were baked that day! Yum- If you are looking for ideas for a birthday gift, I think Hope's Cookies would be a great, unique and delicious idea. Of course, it would guarantee a happy face from the receiver as well!

Sooo good. Perfectly baked; crispy at the edge and moist and chewy as you get to the center. All the classics, as well as some creative flavor combinations. Haven't tried one I didn't like. Ice cream is just ok. Service can ge a bit confusing because you order your ice cream at one end of the counter and then have to go to the other end of the counter to give your cookie order to someone else. Cookies are by the pound, so you definitely get what you pay for. Wish there was a plce around my campus when I was in college.

I frequented Hopes when it was in Radnor, in the 1980s, and continued when they moved to Bryn Mawr. They are, simply, the best cookies there are. My favorite is the Walnut Chocolate Chip, especially if their warm from the oven. Back when I worked in an office in Radnor, my co workers and I would each buy a pound and share them. Through out the afternoon we'd giggle and be silly from the sugar rush. They were expensive, as far as cookies go, but worth every penny.

I'm a big fan of Hope's Cookies, they consistently provide a 4-5 star product. I've been to this location once, but I usually go to the vendor in Reading Terminal. While Famous 4th Street may have prime real estate in RTM, I always make the trek to the back for Hope's. I've ordered online several times and it's been wonderful. My last interaction with Hope's left a bad taste in my mouth. I placed an order online and as instructed by the FAQ page, specified a delivery date in the special instructions box on the order form. About 30 minutes later I received an email from UPS that my order would be delivered tomorrow! I saw that it hadn't been picked up by UPS yet so I called Hope's to see if they could grab it before it went out. I called both numbers listed several times and they kept ringing for eternity. I sent an email and then called again and an answering machine picked up, so I left a message. I received a call from Jay about 15 minutes later. Jay informs me that he saw my calls and my email and got my message. I'll admit overkill, but I was working against time. Jay: "Do you not read?" Me: "Read what?" Jay: "I'm yelling at you, but in a nice way." Jay explained that right above the special instructions box on the order form it says to ignore the UPS email I will receive. I missed this little tidbit and suggested it might also be useful to add it to the frequently asked questions page where the instructions are located for shipping requests. Jay's response, "No one reads that." I love cookies, but I can do without sassy customer service. Here's a tip, if you order and designate a date in the special instructions section, ignore the UPS email.

BUT, you had better know what cookies you want to make in your sandwich, otherwise its back of the line! Ok the cookies are good. We went there for ice cream and the first time my family and I went the people behind the counter clearly hate their jobs and dislike people - we were all in a good mood and tried being friendly and joke around - they were having none of it! Some people have a sweet tooth, but I boast a full mouth of sweet teeth, which translates to the demolition of any cookie (muffin, doughnut, cake, etc.) that comes within two feet of my face. It's a terrible curse, actually. From Hope's, I purchased two snickerdoodles, a chocolate chip, a double fudge, a sugar cookie, as well as a mixed fruit muffin. This was yesterday. They have all been gone for hours. Especially favored the snickerdoodles. Get those from this great little shop!

The boom box is playing loud enough so customers have to repeat themselves, repeatedly...It's nice to have some background music, but this is an ice cream and cookie shop, keep it toned down so you can hear the customers... This is the place with the Cow's out front that are annually tipped over by the local college kids...as others have noted they have a nice little bench area out front...which is good because the only other place to sit and eat is in Peace a Pizza! It can get crowded on a hot summer night...line out the door... The shakes are good! and they do give you the extra little cup of shake that didnt fit in your glass...big plus! Stop by, have some ice cream...just leave the cow alone!

I recently ordered Hope's Cookies for my friends birthday and sent it to her school. I thought it was a really cute idea and I was so excited for her to get it on her birthday. I ordered it a week before i wanted it delivered. I wrote in the special instructions for it to be delivered on Tuesday and a man called me telling me it will MOSTLY LIKELY be delivered that tuesday but there is a possibility it would come that wednesday. He said it was EXTREMELY RARE for it to take two days so i wasn't worried about it arriving on tuesday. Well of course with my luck it takes that extra day which i was disappointed about since i paid almost 10$ for shipping a few cookies. Overall though she got her cookies and enjoyed them!

I can't believe I gave Hope's five stars last year. Sadly, I had to update this review. Hope's dropped two stars in my book when they decided to get rid of the white chocolate cookie, which did not contain macadamia nuts. If you read my previous review, you'll see that these cookies were a huge factor in rating this place five stars. The chocolate chip walnut cookies are still delicious, but everything else seems too sweet. The white russian is a nice cookie, but after eating about two, I can't handle anymore. Unfortunately, I haven't had a desire to go to Hope's as of recent. The only way our relationship can be mended is if you bring back white chocolate cookies WITHOUT THE NUTS.

I've been to the adjoining business Peace-A-Pizza a bunch of times, but the first time I spent money in Hope's was not long ago. I was walking around Wayne all day and was dying for some sort of ice cream to negate the burnt calories. I stopped at Hope's and ended up getting a milkshake. Simply put, it was heaven. Three dollars and change is the normal price, but I was there during March Madness, so the price was knocked down by a dollar. Now, the price is amazing and I'm sure you are wondering how big it is-- you'd think miniscule, right? WRONG. It comes is a full 16 oz cup and they give you a child-size bowl that is also filled with your milkshake. And it's tasty. Now that's good. The service was decent (not bad like some of the other reviews), although the server was a little confused when I asked him to put half skim and half whole into my milkshake. Unfortunately, Hope's doesn't offer mid-range fat content milk, so that was a bit of a bummer, but the guy who made the milkshake was totally accommodating, so I really appreciated that.

I can't knock this place for being expensive, because the chocolate chip walnut cookie is my favorite cookie in the world. I've tried to duplicate the recipe at home and I just can't. I also get the reece's pieces peanut butter cookie too. Mostly everything I get from Hope's is great, but again it's expensive. I once gave an intern money to walk to the store and get me and him cookies during the work day when I was too busy. I love this place. Sometimes the service might be a little slow though and the parking lot is a mess.

I grew up in the area, and ate Hope's Cookies on a regular basis through middle school and high school. I decided to stop by this morning to celebrate my first time back home in a while, and was disappointed. They offer more variety in desserts than they used to, but the cookies aren't as good anymore. The same great flavors are all there, but the textures are off. One of the cookies I had must have been sitting there for almost a week, it was incredibly stale. The other definitely hadn't been baked today, but was more acceptable (though not for a place that prides itself on fresh cookies). I probably won't be going back anytime soon.

Please note that the quality of the cookies is very good- however their mail delivery service is not and their customer service needs to improve. I have not been to the actual location, I have only ordered online. Cookies taste great- but I have called a few times DURING business hours and no one ever answers the phone or returns my call within a reasonable amount of time (less than a week). I ordered cookies for my husband a few weeks back. I received an email specifying that they had questions about the order. I called multiple times during business hours and got no answer. I left my cell phone number, my work number, and my email. I did not have anyone return the call for over a week. The cookies were delivered on our anniversary at 6:30pm to his work place. He had already left for the day. I called that day and the following day and again left messages. Someone finally returned my call the following week and explained they had no control over delivery time. I said I understood but found it unprofessional that no one returned any of my previous calls. They did not offer an apology, a refund, or a discount on future orders. So again, cookies taste great, customer service needs some work...

I guess the allure is for drunk college kids, or local teens who wish they were sophisticated enough to be drunk college kids? Here's a bit of fraud for you: Billboard out front says "dozen hot cookies for $10" and when you go in and ask for that, they give you 12 cold cookies, charge you $12.95, and when you ask "What the heck?" they say your cookies aren't hot, and they don't have any hot ones to sell you, so they had to bait-and-switch. Lucky for me, my college was located down the street from Hope's. Walkable actually. Come to think of it, it probably would've been a good idea to burn off some calories by putting my two legs to good use after indulging in some Hope's Cookies. Sadly, I've long since graduated from college and no longer live in the vicinity. However, when I am in town visiting my old stomping grounds, I always request for a pit stop at Hope's. These cookies are as good as it gets. Great for holidays, family get-togethers, gifts. We routinely bring them to family events in NY, and have shipped them to friends and family members far away. All of them are great, and the shakes are terrific as well. We even gave them as part of the wedding gift bags for guests that stayed at the hotel, and people LOVED them. They were a huge hit.

Where else can you open one door and have access to hot out of the oven cookies on one side of the building, and fresh baked pizza on the other side?? I stopped in and wound up buying both... The cookies were kind of hard to choose from. Especially if you weren't planning on buying many. I chose the chocolate chunk w/walnuts, peanut butter, sugar, and some other type that I forget the name of. All I remember about the last one was that I was some sort of combination of a couple other cookies. All were very good. My intentions were to take some home..... But the thing about intentions is that intentions are always subject to change...lol. Maybe next time. Definitely worth stopping in for something that hasn't been mass produced, shipped, and sitting on a shelf for god knows how long...

I've passed Hope's Cookies many, many times, and finally had a reason to make a trip there. I wanted to get a bunch (a dozen, in my case) for a special person's birthday. Their store is cozy, sharing space with a Peace-of-Pizza - talk about good smells all around! There are a variety of cookie flavors to choose from, my favorite being the classic chocolate chip. Super-friendly cookie master Keirra helped me choose what cookies to stock up on, describing each delicious morsel. She gave me the option to add trimmings and a bow to the box. Prices are competitive with other gourmet cookie vendors. I'll be back if I need cookies that are a little more special than Mrs. Field's. (If you get them, be sure to eat them in a day or two, otherwise they lose their softness.)

Last week my cookie was raw. It is not clean in their and they are hiring the cheapest people. I never get exactly what I want. When I order a medium ice cream, I get large. When I order a trile chocolate cookie, I get choco chip.

We tried the triple chocolate and the chocolate chip. Both were pretty good, but the chocolate chip was definitely better. The triple chocolate cookies were a bit hard. Honestly, the cookies were not bad, but I was expecting more from a cookie store. The quality was no better than a good grocery store cookie, or what you would get at Panera. Maybe we hit an off night, I will have to give Hope's cookies another shot soon.

When I first visited my boyfriend's home he took me on a tour of the area, pointing out the schools he went to, his synagogue, and most importantly Hope's Cookies, which both he and his dad adore (high praise indeed since his father is absolutely crazy about cookies - they can't keep them in the house, otherwise he eats them all!) Such a cute place! And damn those cookies are good - and best of all, there's an incredible variety: choc. chip, caramel pecan, oatmeal raisin, double fudge, m&m, choc. chip walnut, heath bar crunch, snickerdoodle, peanut butter, choc. raspberry, apricot almond, white choc. chunk, sugar, triple choc., Hope's Royale (macadamia nuts, choc. chips, coconut), peanut butter milk choc., white choc. macadamia nut, white russian (kahlua, coffee and white choc. chip), harvest (it's like the ultimate oatmeal cookie - delish!), and their seasonal pumpkin. So many types, its really hard to choose! I'm a big fan of the White Russian, as is my boyfriend, but all their cookies are simply amazing - even better when warmed in the oven! These cookies are so damn good that for my boyfriend's birthday, since I was studying abroad in Italy and couldn't be with him, I ordered 72 cookies in several flavors (I think 8 different ones, but you can get any assortment you want) to be shipped to him and his friends who were celebrating with him. He absolutely loved it, said it was even better than a birthday cake, and all 72 cookies disappeared within 2 days.

I have patronized Hope's Cookies for years and am generally satisfied with the product. On several occasions, however, I bought cookies which were touted as fresh. I got them en route to a function so there is no reason the cookies should have been stale. Stale they were and red-faced was I. They have a good product but the quality assurance is lacking.

Its funny when you live near something for a while and get accoustomed to its greatness, you really take it for granted. For four years i lived within walking distance of Hope's and enjoyed its bounty of fresh cookies that actually melted in your mouth. And i wondered where i got the freshman 15... But it wasn't until i was in Redding Terminal and saw the sign for Hopes that i remembered the greatness. I convinced the bf to get some and i was instantly transported back to the memories of Hopes. They just melted in my mouth. The snickerdoodles had perfect flavor and i will even say they were better than mine! Even the bf was impressed. However, he didn't stop talking about it all weekend. So his birthday was approaching and decided to get him a dozen. I had a hard time chosing only six types from all their options and it sucks that you can't have more than six types in a dozen. I had them shipped to my house since i didn't know the ability of recieving packages at the bf's office. Well the people at Hope's called me to confirm that was really where i wanted the packages delivered. I thought that was really going the extra mile The cookies were delivered within 48 hours, It was awesome I just wish there was a way to pick the delivery date so i didn't have them two days early Still they are the best cookies... ever

I am in love with Hope's Cookies! They are so delicious, so moist, so yummy... I honestly don't know what else to say about these delicious little creations. I always thought that I made the best cookies, but the second I bit into one of Hope's Cookies, I instantly realized that I was giving myself too much credit. I try not to come here as often because when I start to eat one it turns into eating one hundred. My favorite are the heath toffee, chocolate chip, and white russian. Whenever I need to buy a quick gift for someone I always rely on Hope's Cookies, they are affordable and they ship anywhere!

Best cookies to send ANYONE. They are definitely large homemade cookies that come fresh and soft. My roomies mom sent us some last year (08)....2 dozen mixed variety cookies. Since then this online store has been my first choice when sending baked goods anywhere in the country. Anytime I want a care package for any who is sick, boyfriend, back to school. I will get the cookies from here. Even if you can't finish them all at once just microwaving them for a few seconds make the cookies better then any other cookies you have ever eaten. I'll make this brief (since I tend to get long winded with my reviews): -Been coming here since it was attached to West Coast Video (yikes - throwback!). I would DREAM about their chocolate chip cookies and had to make my mama get me one whenever we rented a VHS. -Best Cookies (IMHO): Chocolate Chip, Heath Bar -MILKSHAKES! Their mint chocolate chip milkshakes are my personal favs. I usually ask them to do half whole, half fat-free milk in order to try and cut the calories. Still delish. -Careful of the employees! LOL. They're all high-school/college kids who are probably in the midst of their first employment so be patient and watch what they're doing so you can get what you ordered! The upside to this is that they can be very generous with the portions and sometimes dish out the extra milkshake in a side dish if they made too much (no extra charge! Be sure to tip well). -Try and get there or find out when the cookies are coming out fresh from the oven. I mean, this experience is DIVINE. Hot, melty, scrumptious cookies from Hope's are like none other. -Now that Hope's is attached to Peace A Pizza which actually used to be seriously good before they went mega-local-chain on us. Haven't even bothered getting a slice here in years but, from what I remembered, they went from amazing to mediocre to borderline bad. Sadville. A slice of White pizza and a milkshake used to be the best combo... Ok. I think I've said my piece! Yay, Yelp!

Ugh, One of my biggest vice's in High School. having friends working it meant that I got to constantly savor free cookies and raid the ice cream after hours. And while part of me might have eventually regretted it I do have to acknowledge the cookie quality. Hope's definitely dish out some great cookies. All of the traditional flavors are there and bigger than ever. But they also hook up kinds like Heath Bar, Reece's Pieces, The Royale, and my big time Vice - M & M's. They also do gift boxes, so their perfect for when you need to ship out a last minute sugar coated treat.

Crack thy name is Hope's Cookies! Now sugar is my one true vice, and more often than not it comes in the form of a cookie. I've probably eaten 3 times my weight in cookies during my life, so I have a pretty vaste frame of reference when I say that Hope's Cookies are the best cookies...ever! Look no further than the Kahlua-infused White Russian cookie. To be fair, the punk colleged-aged employees can sometimes have an attitude, but I guess I would too if I was constantly being taunted by the unrealistic temptation of constant cookies. If you get your Hope's Cookies fix at the Reading Terminal, you might like to know that the storefront has about twice as many cookie varieties as they have at the Terminal.

Cookies and Pizza. What a genius idea! You can usually find a Hope's Cookies attached to a Peace A Pizza, and always packed with college kids and those with a sweet tooth. Hope's has the best snickerdoodles and softest gourmet cookies (and natural, too). Some of my favorites: White Chocolate Macadamia Nut, Hope's Royale (macadamia nuts, coconut and semisweet chocolate), Chocolate Raspberry and Double Fudge (with Dutch cocoa). although be warned: their selection changes daily and based on location.

Hope's cookies, thanks for keeping the junk in my trunk throughout 4 years of college. I was a varsity athlete, but you helped me channel my inner fattie. How could I eat just one cookie when the heath-bar/toffee cookies are every bit as chewy and delicious as the white-chocolate macadamia nut cookies? How am I supposed to choose? Well, I didn't. I ate both, and was supremely satisfied with myself (less so with the attendant fat ass that developed from my repetitive, delicious indecision.) Now college is over and it's been a while since I've eaten any of your baked goods, but I remember fondly how they inspired me to rave to friends and family 3000 miles away - even going so far as to bring home a tin so everyone would understand my obsession. My only complaint is that your store is often overrun by prissy Main Line pre-teens. I can handle a lot of things, but twelve-year-olds with bleached hair, popped collars, Tiffany & Co. jewelery, and more attitude than your small storefront can contain - well, it just detracts from my happy and mellow cookie-chomping experience. I know the brats aren't your fault, so I'm not deducting any stars, but patrons should be warned of what to expect when they enter your store.

Several times a year I stop by Hope's to pick up several tins for my clients. I don't know why this place is staffed with grouchy people. I started going to a different spot because the customer service here is so horrible. The building itself is adorable and the cookies are great, however, you will be greeted by an ugly scowl and attitude. Hope's cookies.. Stop hiring walmart-esq lowly people for your morning shifts and bring in a fresh faced smile to take care of your customers!

One time my teacher was pregnant and somebody sent her a box of these cookies and she loved them and she suggested Hope's Cookies to me so I went. Good story, huh? The person that helped me was very nice, extremely patient, and didn't mind explaining the pricing to me. It came to about $10.25 for a dozen in a bag or $13 for the same number of cookies in a box. I got a little of everything but really enjoyed the triple chocolate the most, but I really like chocolate. I'd definitely go back, but next time I need help eating a dozen cookies!!

My entire family loves Hopes cookies. I don't know what they put in them but they are awesome! However, after my last visit, the guy that hand selected my cookies wearing a glove, used that same glove to take my money, scratch his face, the continued to touch cookies without changing his glove. The place is filthy dirty as is Peace of Pizza next door. How they do not get cited by the health inspector is beyond me.

I've been to this location one time, along with the location in Reading Terminal a few more, but I have to say that I'm a huge fan of the cookies here. As always, I start with the chocolate chip cookies: not too thick, and just the right amount of chewiness when they're warm. I'm also a big fan of their sugar cookies and snickerdoodle cookies as well. Sometimes, you might have to wait a little bit - I had to sit tight for the chocolate chip cookies because they were all ordered out! But they bake up another batch quickly, and then you can get your hands and your face all dirtied up stuffing your face with sugary deliciousness. My girlfriend also ordered me a box once; the price is very affordable and well worth the money if you don't live near the shop. I wouldn't put the chocolate chip cookies on the same level as Famous 4th's, but they are still pretty damn good and definitely in the top few on my list of cookie shops.

Hope's Milkshake...(you know the rest). Cookies and cream. It's frothy. It's smooth. It's got cookies in it. It fits through your straw without being overly liquid-y. It's good. It tastes like a milkshake should. The White Russian cookie tastes like a White Russian. It's got coffee and white chocolate and really is worth all of its rave. Now I just need some coffee liquor, vodka and cream to make the experience worthwhile.

Every time I come here, I imagine the Cookie Monster gorging in complete hedonistic ecstasy. COO-KIEEE! These things are like crack. There are tons of flavors to choose from -- even one that is relatively healthy (Harvest - cranberries, walnuts, raisins, honey & coconut, wheat flour & oats). Personally, Harvest, Caramel Pecan, and Apricot Almond were the 3 that seduced my taste buds the hardest. Storefront is a cute white house replete with a picket fence. Inside, there were 2 big BIG African-American brothers who were tattooed up and smiling warmly to greet and to serve. They look so out of context -- for this reason alone, saying hello to the cordial staff is worth the trip.

Hope's Cookies is the perfect place to go if you want something sweet and carby. It's adjoined with the Peace A Pizza nearby so there's a lot of space for a big party. I went with a bunch of the girls on the swim team (about 15 girls) and we were able to comfortably find a place to sit without any problem. Hope's Cookies is recommended for their ice cream cookie sandwiches, but I went for a scoop of the cookie dough ice cream in a waffle cone. Their portions are massive and you get a discount if you show your student ID. The flavors are varied. This place is very child-friendly as their flavors are interesting and they cater to children very well. If you're in the mood for actual cookies, this is the place to come as well. Many students take cookies back to their dorm rooms to munch on throughout the day. If you want a warm cookie, they have a microwave right at the counter to help you satisfy your need, which is really great! Hope's Cookies is definitely the place to be!

It's really a shame this business is so horrible. Their cookies are good. The staff is horrible (sorry!). They close about 30-60 minutes early on a regular basis. I love to have dinner at a nearby restaurant and want a cookie for dessert so I "HOPE" to come here for one. Even when they stay open for their business hours I am grossed out by their sanitary practices and LOUD rap music. Go to Wawa for a warmed up large chocolate chip cookie for only 99 cents. Much, much better and only a few minutes drive down Lancaster Ave.

I went to Hope's cookies on a rainy day and was pleasantly surprised. They had many cookie varieties to choose from and La Colombe coffee to go with the treats. They also served ice cream, which I will try at a later time. The store shares space with Peace of Pizza so there was not a really cozy feeling/quaint seating area that I expected given the impression from the restaurant's outside. But regardless of the disapointment in Hope's Cookies not having its own seperate space, the food was delicious and the staff was very knowledgable and nice.

A health bar crunch cookies AND a scoop of Moose Tracks ice cream became the yummiest treat that I've had in a long time. A fresh baked cookie can be so heavenly good, and Hope's Cookies doesn't disappoint.There were so many tasty choices at Hope's Cookies that my dad, my daughter and I each went with cookies and ice cream. My dad chose the Caramel Dulche de Leche ice cream and a Hope's Royale cookie (macadamia nuts, coconut and chocolate pieces) and gave each a thumb's up. I tasted his ice cream and liked it, although the cookie he kept all to himself. My daughter wanted to bring home more cookies or possibly even better, to bring home containers of the cookie dough to bake our own at home. Hope's Cookies shares a location with Peace a Pizza so if you want to really splurge, go for pizza and then follow up with ice cream and/or cookies. It's an all-in-one stop! Hope's Cookies looks quaint inside and out, and it's a nice place to stop whether you're taking things to go or staying to enjoy your treats. Parking can be a bit tricky since there aren't a huge number or spots, but we had no problem pulling up right in front. That might change when schools and college kids return. If you really like your Hope's Cookies and don't live local (or if you want to send a gift), they will ship the cookies. We enjoyed receiving these cookies from Grandma and Grandpa who live close to the Lancaster Ave store and who shipped these treats to us. They were really good, although nothing beats coming to visit here and getting the cookies super-fresh and with a side of ice cream!

Finally took the time to stop here on my way to King of Prussia. I find the outside of this location very cutesy and have been wanting stop here for awhile. My boyfriend's birthday was this past weekend and he loves oatmeal raisin cookies so I decided to give Hope's Cookies a try. My order consisted of 2 -Oatmeal Raisin 1- M&M Delight 1- White Chocolate Macadamia Nut 1- Heath Bar Crunch Surprisingly the Heath Bar Crunch was our favorite. Next was the oatmeal raisin, white chocolate and then the M&M. The M&M was really nothing special at all. Overall I'd definitely order the Heath Bar and Oatmeal Raisin again. We have came here a few times for a late night treat. Mainly because the location is convenient. Their cookies are pretty good, but not as good as insomnia. But, I think the prices are a little better than insomnia. I really like the sugar cookie with the sprinkles and the peanut butter flavored ones. They also have some other desserts like brownies which I have yet to try. They also have ice cream, I have gotten milkshakes here a couple times and they were delicious. This location is also combined with the peace a pizza next door.

There's nothing quite as beautiful in life as a warm, freshly made Hope's chocolate chip cookie. The first thing you notice when you walk into Hope's cookies is..COOKIES. COOKIES EVERYWHERE. Every kind of cookie you could ever want and ice cream and ice cream sandwiches made with cookies and cookies shaped like cupcakes and more cookies. I bought a peanut butter and m&m cookie and ate it immediately. It was warm and gooey but not falling apart in your hands (I love a cookie that breaks apart as soon as you touch it but thats more of a eating the rejects while making a batch of cookies at home experience.) I also bought a dozen cookies to take home for the parents. They're a bit expensive (a dozen cost be a couple cents short of 20$) but well worth it. If you're in the Ardmore area and need a little sweet in your life please hop on over to Hope's Cookies.

Yum! This was an old college favorite!! Came here after dinner on a Saturday night and it was pretty poppin'! I got an ice cream sandwich, so I went to the cookie counter first to choose my cookies of choice. As we were deciding, the worker was so nice and helpful! He even gave us a broken cookie for free since he said he couldn't sell it! I ended up getting the turtle and heath bar cookie. I then jumped in the ice cream line and got peanut butter cup ice cream for the sandwich. I then had to jump back into the cookie line to pay! A lot of line jumping and crowd dodging, but a delicious result! Plus! it came out to be 3 dollars and change! For a whole ice cream sandwich?!?! So cheap!

White chocolate cranberry !!!!!. That was the flavor I tried today. All I ever need is just one cookie. They are that good. But during holidays, special occasions I splurge on a dozen. Each cookie is only $1.26, tax included. I've tried almost every flavor and they are worth the price. TIP: Parking both in front and back is tight. If you use the lot next door ensure you feed the meter or the mean twp police will ticket you within 2 minutes of your meter expiring. Happened to me last year.

Someone was nice enough to give my husband a box of these cookies.,I think there was about 12 cookies in the box. It was packages like it came from a special store. Unfortunately the cookies inside were far from special. They were quit ordinary to be honest. I know that the person who bought these cookies wanted them to be very special but one bite and you feel like these cookies could have come from a factory and made in mass quantities. I feel bad that someone paid a lot of money for a pretty box with tissue wrapped poor quality cookies. I gave two stars because they were edible and the presentation was nice.

There are so many great things about Hope's Cookies that I could probably reach the Yelp's review limit. But I promise, I won't make it that long! I was deprived of freshly-baked cookies when I was young - My mom was more into cosmetics and fashion, rather than cooking.. go figure. So seeing these delectables makes my little heart scream with joy. My favorites are Apricot Almond! If you are a fan of oatmeal raisin cookies, try these! You won't regret it! What's better about Hope's Cookie is how they deliver all over the United States. One day I was talking to my sister, who still lives in Philadelphia, about how my roommate's mother sends boxes of homemade cookies every week. Few days later, she sent me a huge box of assorted Hope's Cookies as a surprise - since my mom, again, doesn't bake. It came with beautiful wrapping; but what impressed me the most was how those cookies were baked that day! Yum- If you are looking for ideas for a birthday gift, I think Hope's Cookies would be a great, unique and delicious idea. Of course, it would guarantee a happy face from the receiver as well!

Sooo good. Perfectly baked; crispy at the edge and moist and chewy as you get to the center. All the classics, as well as some creative flavor combinations. Haven't tried one I didn't like. Ice cream is just ok. Service can ge a bit confusing because you order your ice cream at one end of the counter and then have to go to the other end of the counter to give your cookie order to someone else. Cookies are by the pound, so you definitely get what you pay for. Wish there was a plce around my campus when I was in college.

I frequented Hopes when it was in Radnor, in the 1980s, and continued when they moved to Bryn Mawr. They are, simply, the best cookies there are. My favorite is the Walnut Chocolate Chip, especially if their warm from the oven. Back when I worked in an office in Radnor, my co workers and I would each buy a pound and share them. Through out the afternoon we'd giggle and be silly from the sugar rush. They were expensive, as far as cookies go, but worth every penny.
